Washing — The Most Critical Step

• Designer blouses with aari work or embellishments — dry clean only. Machine washing will loosen the embroidery threads and cause beads to fall off.
• Plain cotton blouses — hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Never wring — squeeze gently and hang to dry.
• Lehengas and anarkalis — dry clean for embellished versions. For plain cotton or georgette anarkalis, gentle hand wash works.
• Kids cotton frocks — machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Separate darks from lights.

Ironing Tips
